Re-Inventing Storage Spaces with Custom Designs
SINCE 1981, FRED SEFA AND JERRY MCAFFEE of The Closet Warehouse have been transforming closets, garages, offices, and all kinds of storage. They are experts in the complex art of space-saving.
It starts with a free on-site consultation. Fred explains, “We find out how the client will use the closet so we can tailor to their needs.” Jerry adds, “We can work with a blank canvas, or if it’s an older home we’ll re-imagine the space. If you need a built-in hamper or a his and hers closet or a well-positioned mirror, we’ll make it happen.”
A Closet Warehouse proposal includes blueprints, suggested materials and pricing options. They’ll match or beat any written estimate from an established competitor, and all products and services are warrantied. “For us, quality means a strong design, the best materials, and beautiful, clean work,” says Jerry.
Customers are often surprised at how life-altering a well-designed closet space can be. Fred says, “Imagine walking into your closet before work. You don’t want to waste time finding your clothes, shoes, tie, belts. You want everything organized. Good space really makes life easier.”

Closet Warehouse redid our entire walk-in closets for us twice, the first time about seven years ago. I have used them ever since for my work, too. I buy businesses and after I acquire them I always remodel the offices. I always hire Closet Warehouse to custom build the desks, cabinets and display cases. Their designers are very good and they do a great job. They have very competitive prices and they have a quicker turnaround time than the competition. Their installers are great. If any there is any issue with installation or the materials, they will come back and make it right. I always have a good experience with them, which is why I keep using them over and over again.

Closet Warehouse built out the bedroom walk in closets in my home. My sister had used them and highly recommended them to me. The people in the office were great. They were very communicative, and they sent people out promptly to take estimates and follow up. They answered all my phone calls right away. The team that performed the work was very efficient and clean. They use high quality materials and they had good suggestions for me when I asked what my options were. The whole experience from beginning to end was great!

As a general contractor, I have used Closet Warehouse as a subcontractor for my clients ever since they did the closets in my own house a dozen years ago. I work on high-end homes so everything is custom. I need the work to be good and Closet Warehouse provides this service. Their pricing is also really good. I trust them to interact in a professional way with my clients and my clients are always happy with them. It’s important to me to work with good people—the owner is a good guy!

I have worked with Closet Warehouse since I started my business in 1990. The company was owned by a different gentleman who sold the business to Fred. As a professional organizer, I use them predominantly for my clients, but they have also done work for me personally. My company specializes in helping clients move into new homes. We also design closets and storage areas. Closet Warehouse installed all the closets in a large condo of a very important, and very particular client. When I make a referral to a client, I am responsible for how things turn out. My client was over the moon! She had gotten other estimates and Closet Warehouse price was so much better. Fred showed her some samples of different textures and colors. She found one she loved and got a great price. A lot of closet companies divide the space up in two or three foot segments to make it easier for them. With Fred I can request a specific measurement so an even number of pairs of shoes will fit just right. It’s not about what standard size shelf fits the space, it’s about what I want to put in the space that’s important. Closets should be customized to the client’s needs. Fred goes out of his way to make pricing work. The closet industry is cutthroat and they are all basically using the same materials. Fred can get any kind of material to fit the budget, from high end to economical. Their customer service is great. They have helped me solve a last minute problem several times. This week I have a client moving into a space and they need a countertop over the washer-dryer. I called Closet Warehouse last minute and they are accommodating my client. They really do whatever they can to meet my goals. They do what they say. Of course things happen, and a problem may arise, but I know Fred will make it right.

I have hired Closet Warehouse not only for my clients but for my own home as well. I have used their services to create everything from clothing closets to garage storage cabinets. As a small business owner myself, I have found the design team to be easily accessible via phone and I appreciate that I am able to speak directly to the person that helped me. Many large corporate closet companies do not offer the same level of customer service once the design has been purchased. Not only are Closet Warehouse's prices competitive - 20-30% less than most manufacturers - they will often times turn your project around in half the time! While most closet companies need 6-8 weeks to install, CW is often around 2-4 weeks. They use the same materials as the other majors and will install any hardware you provide free of charge.
