This company was a pleasure to work with from the initial phone call to the work performed and the follow through. What a relief to finally have someone here and my husband can relax and not hover over them to make sure the work is done properly. Matthew did a superior job installing our faucets. We will certainly be using them again in the near future.

Matthew Highsmith has been my plumber for more years than I can remember. He is an extraordinary, diligent professional. He will find the right solution and stay until it is perfect. He will make recommendations so that, for example, if I need a new toilet, he will tell me where I can buy it for the best price, or if he can find it cheaper he will get it for me. He is just spectacular and his pricing is the fairest you’ll ever find. Every single neighbor in my area uses him as well because I recommended him. He is easy to get a hold of. He has someone who books his appointments and is as diligent as can be. She will even call me if Matthew is running late. Matthew and his company have never let me down.

I found Highsmith through a Facebook community group for Simi Valley. I called him to fix our leaking sprinklers and he came out the next day to give an estimate. My wife was home and she said Matt was super nice, courteous and professional and his estimate was good. He came our two days later and did the work. He did quality work and the pricing was fair. Later, some of our plumbing was getting backed up. Matt sent his worker, who was also very courteous, to snake the house. He did it and now we are fine. In the Simi Valley referral group whenever I see a post requesting a recommendation for plumbing I always refer him. Most people in that group like Highsmith and so I’m not the only one posting about him. He is really busy, but he still makes time. The priorities are there. I’m in IT and I’m big on customer service and follow up. He is not just doing it for the money. He’s a New England fan and I’m a Miami fan, but other than that, it’s all great!

I’m very pleased with Matthew Highsmith. I've had very good luck with him and so has my family. He is very professional. My old plumber had retired and it was hard for him to do certain jobs. I like that Matthew is now my plumber because he is young and really strong. The last time I needed him it was the end of his day. He probably would have liked to come the next day, but he came right away and fixed me up. He’s done mostly normal stuff for me, but one time I had a big sewer problem. I was frantic because it was around the holidays and the city had to be involved and everything. Matthew took care of it all! His pricing is good—not cheap and not expensive—within reason. When he can’t make it, he has another fellow that I am happy with, too. I have never had a problem with Highsmith! They are really on top of it!

Matthew is the best plumber ever. He is reasonable and honest and he knows what he is doing. I had a plumber here about a year ago who, in order to fix a leak, changed some pipes under my kitchen sink. Not a year later I had a leak again but the biggest thing was my water pressure suddenly was very bad. I called Matthew because I had seen his trucks around – I loved that his company was “and Daughters.” Matthew got down under the sink and told me that the other plumber had installed galvanized piping into my copper pipes. Galvanized into copper corrodes the pipes! Matthew told me that the corrosion was clogging my pipes, which caused the leak and the drop in water pressure. Sure enough, Matthew removed the pipes and showed them to me and they were almost entirely closed with corrosion. The other plumber had been setting himself up for more work by putting the galvanized into the copper pipes. Matthew is so personable and honest and really reasonable per today’s scale. Plumbers are right up there cost-wise with electricians. I have had Matthew over two other times. He knows what he is doing. He is efficient and he uses good American-made parts. I won’t ever use anyone else!

When you hire Matthew Highsmith, not only are you getting a good plumber, you're getting someone who cares. He is a great guy who does great work. I got bids three plumbers in my area to run a basic pipe from my gas main to an outdoor heater on my patio. The first guy came out and gave me an estimate of $6000. The second was $5000. Then Matthew came out, carefully assessed the job and gave me an estimate of $600. The chain company plumbers were probably just reading off a playbook while Matthew came in and figured out exactly what I needed. He did a fabulous job. When the heater came in a couple of days later, the piping needed to be moved just a little bit. I called Matthew and he came right back out, and extended the pipe work, no questions asked and at no additional cost. I was speechless. Next I had Matthew fix my bathtub. Another plumber had installed a cartridge the year before and it had never worked right. Matthew told me he uses only American-made, high-grade parts. He fixed my bath for $50 or $60 less than what I paid the year prior that hadn’t worked for a year. I couldn’t have asked for anything more. Matthew is my plumber for the rest of my life. I have other plumbing needs right now because I am remodeling my house. I can’t ever imagine hiring anyone else. I was the retail regional manager for Michael’s Arts and Crafts for 22 years. Customer service has always been really important to me. I would have hired Matthew in a second for any of the hundreds of stores I managed just based on his customer service. On top of that, his work is superb. He is also a passionate, engaging person.
