Lauren is talented, hard working and kind. I had had bad experiences in the past with interior designers. I researched Lauren’s style before I hired her. She has an eclectic style that I love.
We immediately hit it off. I have been working with her for over a year and a half now, first on our current home, and now on a new home we are building from the ground up. In our initial meeting I was a bit all over the place with my ideas. I like a lot of different styles and she miraculously found a way to put it all together fluidly so it works. I get so many compliments on my home and when guests visit they are constantly looking around my rooms at all the unique pieces of art and decor she found for our home.
She fully decorated our first home, including wall color and decor. I live by the beach and everyone’s house looks the same. Lauren was able to add my personal creativity. I asked her a few times to change things and she was a dear about it—she came back with great ideas.
I love my house! It feels beachy and relaxed but with cool features from around the world. Not many people can do that!
Now we are building a home from the ground up and Lauren is our main designer. She is working with an architect on not only paint colors and materials, but also the layout of the home.
Lauren is definitely worth her price. Also, other designers may cut on costs up front but they will gouge you with the furniture. Lauren is always up front about pricing and she worked to get me deals on furniture. So in the long run, you are saving money with her. I ended up not liking the color of the rug for the nursery and even though it was non-refundable, Lauren went out of her way to get me a refund.
I gave her a timeline and she stuck to it. I am more casual of a client until the last minute when we need something right away. She works well with that. At one point I threw our architectural plans to her at the last minute and within one evening she got back to us with great ideas.
I have recommended Lauren to all my friends and family.
I am extremely satisfied. Lauren was able to create my vision without me really knowing what it was!

We’re super thrilled with Lauren and LMDA. She restyled the living space in our old home in Hermosa Beach and took care of everything from paint, to draperies, to furniture. The results were gorgeous. Lauren did a great job of bringing my ideas to fruition and (very kindly) made alternate suggestions where appropriate. She was able to consider things we didn’t even think of and always gave lots of options. I appreciate Lauren's openness and that she was able to meet my husband’s quirky requests without compromising the aesthetics of the project. Lauren was very mindful of timelines and pricing. She asked what we would like to spend at the outset and stuck to those parameters to a tee.
We liked her so much that right now, she’s working on our new house alongside the architect to help us design the space. My friend had recommended Lauren initially and I followed her on Instagram for a while, so I knew we would be in good hands.
