Because I’d been so pleased with a painter from Neighbor2Neighbor, I thought I’d take a chance with another participant, namely Local Home Services. Within a short time of emailing, Derek got back to me. I gave him a list of things I needed done and he went the extra mile with his communication. He sent James to my home who conscientiously and methodically looked over my list and took the day to do it all. He worked hard and he was meticulous. That’s rare these days.
He did some major repairs including cutting out a section of an interior wall that was water damaged. It was beautifully patched and painted to match the rest of the wall. James repaired my brick fireplace and mixed the concrete so the color matched the old concrete as well. He also removed my kitchen door, repaired the weather stripping, aligned and painted the door, as well as enclosing and painting some of the eaves area that could be fire prone. All without going to the hardware store because he had all the materials he needed in his truck. The price was fair with the work completed at the quoted price.
Because of the quality of his work I have already recommended Local Home Services to others.
