DANIEL PAYNE'S GREAT-GREAT-GRANDFATHER ARRIVED IN LOS ANGELES from Nebraska in 1914 at 16 years old and started a business that has spanned five generations. Today, Daniel and his wife Miranda run E L Payne with pride in their own contribution to the City of Angels.

EL Payne installed an air conditioning unit into our home and added duct work to the second level. They also installed an AC unit for a wine unit in the back Casita. They had great customer service. This the best part of the Payne Company. They are responsive and easy to work with. We had some hiccups when things were fist installed which could have been the result of living in an older home. The best part comes back to their customer service. They stood by their work and made it right, which is all one can ask for. I really appreciate that.

I have been using EL Payne for maybe 30 years now! They give me twice a year service and they replaced my units three years ago. No major problems! We have been very lucky. If I need emergency service, they are one call away. I had the same service man for maybe 20 years. Now I have a new young service man. They are all really kind and honest. We have no complaints which is why we have stayed with them. It is hard to find a company you can trust. We are lucky to have met them!

EL Payne is the absolute best. They take care of all our heating and cooling needs. They do regular maintenance work as well as major work when we have done a construction project or needed things replaced. They are also a good resource for other home related services. I worked with other companies when we first moved in. These were companies that subcontracted with contractors or came with our home warranty. EL Payne is the only company I have worked with that has a real personal touch. You can actually call and talk to a real person when there is a problem as opposed to trying to connect with a faceless entity. Their pricing is very competitive. It’s basically the same as the other companies, but you don’t have to deal with any runarounds! They are very straightforward with the options and very transparent with the work. I love them as a company. If they offered more services, I would definitely avail myself of those!
