VENICE FAMILY CLINIC began in 1970 with volunteer physicians providing free basic medical care in a borrowed storefront dental office. Since then, the Clinic has grown into a leading community health center serving patients across the Westside, Inglewood, the South Bay and everywhere in between through a growing network of clinic locations and Early Head Start centers, plus mobile clinics and an extensive street medicine program.
Comprehensive services offered include: primary and specialty care, behavioral health, dental, vision, substance use treatment, HIV services, health education, health insurance enrollment and early childhood development. Venice Family Clinic partners with leading doctors and healthcare facilities, and also with community organizations and social service providers, so patients get the care they need and have access to social and economic programs that will help keep them healthy.
Venice Family Clinic has a team of more than 500 staff and 1,100 volunteer who deliver care to 45,000 people with compassion, dignity and respect, regardless of ability to pay or immigration status.
