We have 2 very large trees on our property. We had hired several tree trimmers in the past 25 years but Amazon Tree Service has been the absolute best! They did a fabulous job, took special care of our plantings and shrubbery and opened up the spaces among the branches of the trees in a lovely way.

Amazon Tree Service replied to our inquiry right away. We had already gotten a bid for our job from another company. They came out to assess the job and gave us a thorough description of what services they would provide and a solid bid for the entire job within a day or two. We knew right away that they were prompt, courteous, professional, and good at communicating with us. The day of the service work, they came a little early to set up, they were very organized, and Cesar was there to start the project. Leo stayed all day working and assisting. They did a professional job on all types of trees including tall palm trees. Our yard was totally cleaned up and they hauled all the debris away. They had to trim trees by the pool and even the pool was cleaned up. We are completely satisfied and highly recommend Amazon Tree Service.

We have a hillside home with several large overgrown trees and bushes, so it was time to look for a good tree company. We found Amazon Tree and Landscaping in our area Neighbor2Neighbor booklet that recommends local handpicked services.
The company owners, Cesar Perez, his father Leo, and their great crew turned out to be the right choice.
Cesar’s knowledge of trees impressed us right away. He knew the name of every tree and bush on our property. He gave us a very detailed, easy to read bid that included everything we had spoken of, and listed all the trees by name. They removed two very large trees, a smaller tree, pruned down several others, removed a huge limb from a neighbor’s tree that was hanging over our front deck, and trimmed back another neighbor’s large tree overhanging our roof. They also did a few extras that Cesar did not charge for.
Cesar, Leo and crew arrived at 7:30am on the scheduled day and apart for a lunch break (well earned) they all worked consistently until late afternoon. The job took two days, and they left our property spotless including the street outside our house.
Amazon’s Tree and Landscaping pricing is very reasonable. My husband and I had calculated what we thought the job would cost, and we found Cesar’s bid to be very fair.
We highly recommend their company. They are worth every penny! We will again be hiring Cesar, Leo and crew to landscape our property within the next few weeks.

Whenever I need to hire someone for work on my house, I go back to the Neighbor2Neighbor book. I consistently find the service providers from Neigbor2Neighbor to be honest and skilled at their jobs. Amazon Tree Service is no exception. I recently had a leak in my sprinkler system and I called Cesar. He came to my home to evaluate the problem and clearly explained what was happening with the sprinklers. I received an estimate for the work and Cesar repaired the leak and changed out the inappropriate piping. Later, I called him back out to replace an old control box on the sprinkler system that was malfunctioning. I truly appreciate how nice and down to earth Cesar is—it made talking and working with him so easy.

We have used Amazon Tree Service (ATS) for years to trim and otherwise maintain our fast-growing Chinese Elm Tree. ATS is owned by a father and son who are very knowledgeable about all landscaping and who will listen to and be responsive to your request for shaping your trees. Their crew works quickly and efficiently and is very skillful. My tree is always trimmed in such a way that its natural beauty is displayed. We hired Amazon Tree Service to clean up our backyard—the hill was overgrown with ivy which was strangling some of our trees. We are very pleased with the service that Amazon provided. Cesar, the business owner, even connected us with a tree expert for some input. Following the recommendations made by the expert, Cesar and his team carried out all of the work. They also took the time to educate us: when to responsibly trim trees in regards to seasons and weather, how to better care for our camellias, and how to change the settings on our irrigation system. The backyard looks gorgeous now. I think that there were about seven workers in total. They all showed up on time and finished the job on time. Once the work was completed, they cleaned up everything, even the roof of our house. We look forward to calling Cesar in three months for a check-up.

Prior to my knowledge of the Neighbor2Neighbor publication, I experienced impressive service from All Star Plumbing. With the plumbing job complete, All Star left us a copy of the Neighor2Neighbor book. In the directory I found Amazon Tree Service. Three years ago, we had two liquid amber trees in the front yard removed and another type of tree planted in the same space. That tree never thrived due to the leftover in-ground stumps and roots from the liquid ambers. So, I reached out to Cesar at Amazon Tree Service for assistance as I knew that I wanted a tree expert to guide me. Cesar and his team worked very hard to remove as much residual underground liquid amber growth as possible. They still recommended against trying to plant another tree in the same area. Instead, we decided to fill the area with a rich soil and large shrubs. We experience high winds and deer on our property and I wanted to plant something that could thrive in our environment. Cesar sent me to a specific nursery to pick out the new plants where I found the staff to be very knowledgeable and helpful. The front yard looks beautiful now. I’ve already received many complements. We expanded the job to the back yard where Cesar and his team addressed some smaller issues as well. Throughout the process, I was impressed by how nice all of the workers were. I also feel that the prices are fair. I am happy to recommend Amazon Tree Service to others—in fact, I know that a neighbor stopped Cesar to ask about a tree on her property.

Parts of my sprinkler system were in disrepair, and I got tired of waiting for others who said they would fix it to follow through. Amazon Tree Services completed all the work needed in about 3-4 hours. There was a broken water fountain motor, leaking sprinkler nozzles and some broken hoses. They also raised my garden spigot for easier access. Cesar was quick to respond to my initial phone call and equally quick to produce an estimate for the list of repairs. Once the job started, a previously unknown problem was discovered with a timer. Amazon repaired it without going above the original estimate. Based on my past experiences with landscape companies, I found Amazon’s pricing to be fair. I’m very satisfied with the work they did and I’m happy to recommend Amazon Tree Service to anyone in need of their services.

We called Cesar on a recommendation from our beloved gardener Sage Greenscaping, and Sage steered us right. We had two good experiences with Cesar and his crew. They carefully and thoughtfully trimmed our trees by hand - no chainsaws - and brought down the height of the biggest tree so we could more easily harvest the fruit. Then they did a health check on our drip line irrigation system, adding smaller tubing to make it more visible and easier to manage. They were on time, professional, careful and kind, they left everything tidy and shipshape and they did great work. I fully recommend Cesar and his crew.

We highly recommend Amazon Tree Service. They mow, do the edging, trim the roses, clean up the flower beds. If we ask them to do a little something extra they do it and don’t charge us. They trim most of our trees and do an excellent job picking up all the debris. We inherited Amazon about 15 years ago from the lady that used to own the house. We were so happy to have them. They are reliable and accommodating. They did some landscaping for us. Leo purchased the plants for me, planted them and cared for them and they are still doing well. We have an avocado tree that was leaning. They balanced it out so it grew straight. We would absolutely without a doubt recommend them. We haven’t ever compared pricing as they have never raised their rates. We’re so glad we can recommend Amazon. They are great.

Amazon Tree Service is wonderful! The best! I have used them on my large yard for at least 15 years. They do basic lawn care, but they also: put in flowers, trim my trees and sweep the pine needles off my roof. They installed a drip water system for me that has had no problems. My oleanders caught a disease and most of them died. Luckily Amazon was able to save some of them. I can’t recommend them highly enough. I only have to say something once and they do it. They remember things. I know the whole family and Cesar is very much like his father: courteous and never cops an attitude. He keeps abreast of things. Our water situation is changing and he keeps up. I have a lot of last century roses, azaleas, grass, and the like, and the water is going to kill us. Amazon is helping change things out to plants that are not water-intensive.

Amazon does impeccable work and they are really easy to deal with. Leo, Cesar’s dad, is amazing. He has worked as a gardener for our family for 20 years, first for my mom and then, for me. Cesar is a reflection of his dad. Cesar took care of, and gave special attention to, the many trees I had on my large property in Glendale. The team at Amazon have a lot of skills, and make suggestions if it’s important. For example if a tree or bushes need more trimming (or less), or more care, they mention it. They truly take care of you. I recommended Amazon Tree to the owner of the house I’m renting now. She hired them and was very pleased with the results. They are methodical in their work and clean up impeccably. Their service is caring, committed, personable. This translates into longevity! They are very responsive. They will happily do anything extra. And to top it off they are reasonably priced.

I have worked with Amazon Tree since 1997. I’m the director of operations for the Roybal Foundation. Amazon worked for the Congressman and for the past 5 to 10 years they’ve worked at the foundation. They do our landscaping on a weekly basis. It’s more complex than just mowing the lawn. They pruned our grape vines in December. They removed three palm trees down to the roots—they brought in a crew and machines and turned the roots into sawdust. Amazon works quickly and efficiently. Their pricing is good. I have only worked with one other company. They are both good but Amazon is better priced. I would highly recommend Amazon. I vouch for them.

I’m really happy with Amazon Tree Services. They are very reliable in everything and very honest. Their prices are also very good. It is very rare that I give recommendations, but I only have good things to say about them. The family has been with me 22 years. Cesar is very reliable and very honest. I used to live in another neighborhood and lots of people use Amazon there. They work hard and are experts. Once a year they prune and fertilize. I’m very pleased with the way they take care of the trees and all the garden. Usually they send a crew of three people and I have had a good experience with every person who has come from that company.

I highly recommend Amazon Tree Service, Inc. and their entire staff. Cesar and Leo are the owners of the company and have worked with me for the last 2 years. Their work is outstanding and they have done projects for many of my friends and neighbors too. The type of work that they do on my property is the weekly yard maintenance and yearly tree pruning of my trees. What differentiates this company from others is that they always go the extra mile to keep my property in tip top shape. If there is a minor sprinkler failure, they fix it for free. When a branch is hanging too close to a power line, they cut it back. When the flower beds need fertilizer, they let me know. They pretty much do EVERYTHING that I need for my yard, therefore I do not need to hire other companies to do different jobs. The communication that they have with me is great and I don’t have to worry about a thing because I know that these guys will take care of my property as if it were theirs. Their pricing has always been fair, in my opinion, since the first time that I used this company to trim my Oak trees. I was impressed by their knowledge in the field, professionalism, and their amazing work ethic. I will continue to use them for a looong time.
